There’s no
two ways about the fact that Tere Bina Dil Lagta Nahin was the best song
on the soundtrack of Deewana Mastana.
(Ud)It was rendered by Mr Narayan and Vinod Rathod, who were also credited with the song from the same film that went for a toss.
They were joined behind the microphone by Alka Yagnik.
Interestingly, the hook of the song was, “Kya karoon?”
The phrase, which could be translated to, “What do I do?”, did imply a dilemma. Hopefully, it wasn’t faced by either Anand Bakshi, the lyricist, or Laxmikant-Pyarelal, the composers.
