Bhattacharya held the listeners’ A(bhijee)ttention

The soundtrack of Baadshah, which released in 1999, didn’t actually have too many songs (just half-a-dozen), but they were long.
There are five songs from the film on this blog, of which the title track was the third longest – it was half-a-dozen minutes and 37 seconds long.
It was rendered by the one and only Abhijeet Bhattacharya.
And by no means would it be incorrect to state that it was a catchy number.
The track was penned by Sameer.
It may not have earned Anu Malik a nomination, but wasn’t its popularity a huge reward?
