Of the five
songs from Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, which released in 1998, on this
blog, Chal Pyaar Karegi was the longest – it was half-a-dozen minutes
and 17 seconds long.
It certainly wasn’t (Nig)amind-blowing track. In fact, it wouldn’t be incorrect to state that it was salvaged by the duo who rendered it – Alka Yagnik and Sonu.
But as long as the listeners didn’t give it the thumbs down, saying, “Naa ji, naa ji”, there was absolutely no reason for anyone to complain.
The song was penned by Anand Bakshi and composed by Jatin-Lalit.
