There’s no two
ways about the fact that O O Jaane Jaana
was the catchiest track on the soundtrack of Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya.
It was London-born pop singer Kamaal Khan’s debut single, which released a couple of years before the film.
But its inclusion in the film boosted the track’s popularity tremendously. In fact, it earned him the Filmfare R D Burman Award for New Music Talent in 1999.
Penned by Sameer, the track was five minutes and 46 seconds long.
It was the longer of the two Jatin-Lalit compositions on this blog.
