Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye, from Soldier,
had just one thing in common with its namesake from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge – both were the shortest tracks on the
soundtracks of the respective films.
In fact, the former was four minutes and 23 seconds long.
The only female solo in the film, it was rendered by Alka Yagnik.
The male version of the Son(u)g, which was rendered by Mr Nigam, was titled Mere Saanson Mein Samaye. It was as long as Ms Yagnik’s version, but wasn’t included on this blog.
Sameer penned the Anu Malik composition.
