It Sure(sh)ly wAs(h)a catchy number

Sapne Mein Milti Hai was the shortest of the three tracks from Satya on this blog – it was five minutes and 23 seconds long.

Indeed, the best thing about this song was that even someone who struggles to hold a tune would able to hum a few lines, because there’s no two ways about the fact that it was an infectious number.

Gulzar penned the Vishal Bhardwaj composition, which was rendered by Asha Bhosle and Suresh Wadkar.

The guy was likened to what every woman in Mumbai’s suburbs has always wanted – a khaali (empty) rickshaw.
