As a
bachelor, I could never relate to O Mummy Mummy from Deewana Mastana.
But I’ve been an editor for the past few years, hence I found it ridiculous that the man who penned it misspelled Mummy and Daddy as M-U-M-Y and D-A-D-Y in a line of the song.
And the lyricist was none other than Anand Bakshi.
Of course, the liberty he took was forgiven, because a lot of the fare that was being dished out in the name of lyrics at that point was worse.
Laxmikant-Pyarelal composed the song.
Mr Narayan rendered (Ud)it.
