was one of the most mind-blowing numbers of the 1990s.
The credit for that must be given to half-a-dozen individuals.
Of course, Gulzar, who penned it, and Vishal Bhardwaj, who composed it, deserved the lion’s share of it.
And the quartet who rendered it – Hariharan, KK, Suresh Wadkar and Vinod Sehgal – gave the song the proverbial chaar chaand.
It was the longest of the three tracks from the film on this blog – it was five minutes and 15 seconds long.
