Undoubtedly, this track wAS awesome

There’s no doubt that composers Nadeem-Shravan took the line, “Ask and you shall receive” seriously. The listeners asked for a hit, and that’s exactly what they received.

The song in question was Poochho Zara Poochho, from Raja Hindustani

It was half-a-dozen minutes and a dozen seconds long.

Sameer penned the song, whose line, “Tumse dil lagaane ki sazaa hai” inspired a couple of other tracks – Mausam Ki Tarah Tum Bhi Badal Toh Na Jaoge, from Jaanwar (1999), and a portion of Pyaar Kar, from Humraaz (2002).

It was rendered by Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu.
