Sadly, Sanu didn’t (Dev)kill (Pand)it

Although Guddu, which released in 1995, did Devki Pandit's career a world of good, the film didn’t boast of a mind-blowing soundtrack.

In fact, it had just one track that became popular. And that was Daddy Se Poochh Lena.

She shared singing credits with none other than Kumar Sanu.

Those who loved the films, and, in particular, the music, of the Golden Era would be both delighted and disappointed.

Abrar Alvi, a key member of Guru Dutt's team, wrote the film’s screenplay.

The song, which was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri, was composed by Naushad Ali.
