Agni Sakshi, which released in 1996,
certainly fared a tad better than Yaarana (1995) and Daraar (1996),
the other desi remakes of Sleeping with the Enemy (1991).
But as far
as the film’s soundtrack was concerned, there’s no two ways about the fact that
it failed to make a mark.
Of course,
it had one song that became very popular. That was O Yaara Dil Lagana.
It was the
shortest song in the film (it was four minutes and 34 minutes long) and the
only solo (Kavita Krishnamurthy rendered it).
Sameer
penned the Nadeem-Shravan composition.
