Remo's proN(ar)u(la)nciation was the highlight

The title track of Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha was the shortest track in the film – it was three minutes and 52 seconds long.

There’s no two ways about the fact that Mr Fernandes' rendition continues to be Rem(o)embered. Nobody can forget his mispronunciation of the word Tha as Taa.

He was joined behind the microphone by Jaspinder Narula, who bagged the Filmfare and Screen Awards in the Best Female Playback category in 1999.

Sameer penned the track.

(Pand)It wouldn’t be incorrect to say, “Hit to hona hi taa”, because it was composed by Jatin-Lalit.

Remo rendered this Aflatoon track

The word Aflatoon means eccentric or mad.

In fact, a few people must have wondered whether Anand Bakshi, who penned Aflatoon Aflatoon (the title track of Aflatoon, which released in 1997), lost it when he wrote a line containing the word telephone and another containing the word junoon*, which don’t rhyme.

Remo Fernandes crooned the Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen composition.

[*Note: It went, “Kis number pe karoon telephone, dil mein talaash teri chehre pe junoon” (which meant, “On what number can I call you? Your search is in my heart, and there’s passion on my face.”)]

Remo was DeComposer and (Fernan)desinger

A couple of songs on the soundtrack of Khamoshi: The Musical – which was set in Goa – were composed and rendered by Remo Fernandes.

This blog contains a post on the shorter of them* – Huiya Ho. It was four minutes and 27 seconds long.

Dominique (Cere)joined him behind the microphone.

Majrooh Sultanpuri penned the track, which was about letting it go. In fact, there were repetitions of the word jaane, followed by do.

(*Note: The other was Shinga-Linga. It was five minutes and 34 seconds long. Cerejo shared singing credits with Fernandes for this track too.)
