(Ud)It was certAinlY the highlight

Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, which was rendered by Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan, was the best song on the soundtrack of Duplicate.

It was six minutes and 59 seconds long.

In fact, they was joined behind the microphone by Shankar Mahadevan for another track in the film – Tum Nahin Jaana, which is not on this blog. It was half-a-dozen minutes and 48 seconds long.

The track was penned by Javed Akhtar.

Die-hard fans of Anu Malik, who composed it, must have responded to the track using just three words – shukriya (thank you), meherbaani and karam.
