Ek Chumma
Tu Mujhko Udhaar Dai De, from Chhote Sarkar (1996), wasn’t a part of
the Chumma trilogy, but the series was worth extending to include the
track.
The
highlights of the song, undoubtedly, were the ‘offers’ of various Indian states
and cities to the girl in exchange for a kiss, an answer in the affirmative, a
few smooches on the lips, and finally, her hand in his.
Ostensibly
a duet, Mr Narayan rendered (Ud)it almost single-handedly, with Alka Yagnik
playing second fiddle.
The track,
which was penned by Rani Malik, was composed by Anand-Milind.
