By no
means was Mahendra Chand Vinod a household name, but one of the tracks penned
by him did go on to become fairly popular.
The song
in question was Dil Mein Hai Tu. It was from Daava, which
released in 1997.
It was
half-a-dozen minutes and eight seconds long. And unfortunately, it neither had
a long shelf life nor a high recall value.
The next
couple of lines of the song, which was rendered by Poornima and Kumar Sanu,
went, “Dhadkan mein tu, O my darling, I love you.”
It was
composed by Jatin-Lalit.
