Ek Baat Bataoon was another song from my playlist of songs
that were fairly popular at a point, but ones that nobody listens to anymore
because the films whose soundtracks they featured on don’t ring a bell either.
In fact, even the so-called popularity of the song – which was from Milan (1995) – was short-lived.
I didn’t hear it on the radio. In fact, I happened to read about it online, and remembered just the first line, which I’d heard eons ago.
Sameer penned the Anand-Milind composition, which was rendered by Sadhana Sargam and Kumar Sanu.
