Nobody said na to Nana

The most popular song on the soundtrack of Yeshwant, which released in 1997, wasn’t actually a song. It was, in fact, a monologue set to music, with a lady providing the backing vocals.

The monologue in question was, “Ek machchar aadmi ko hijra bana deta hai” (which can be translated to, “One mosquito can turn a man into a eunuch”.

Ek aadmi ne in lines ko hit bana diya, and that was none other than the film’s lead, the one and only Nana Patekar.

The track, which was penned by Sameer, was composed by Anand-Milind.
