Gone were
the days when Hasrat Jaipuri penned songs (of course, they continue to be
hummed).
But Anu Malik certainly didn’t do his uncle proud when he penned Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai, the shortest track on the soundtrack of Ishq – it was five minutes and eight seconds long.
Malik’s association with the song didn’t end there – besides composing it, he rendered it too.
He was joined behind the microphone by none other than Abhijeet Bhattacharya.
While the song had a short shelf life, it wouldn’t be incorrect to state that its recall value was high.
