Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum, the
title track of Hum (1991), was a
run-of-the-mill song. It couldn’t be described as hummable.
It was
penned by Anand Bakshi and composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
And since
the song was about the bond between the members of the leading man's family, it
was obviously rendered by a group – a quintet, to be precise.
Three of
the five who (Bhos)lent their voices to it were men – Sudesh, Mohammed Aziz and
Udit Narayan.
The two
female singers who joined them behind the microphone were Alka Yagnik and
Sonali Bajpayee.
