(Ud)It was certainly (Paudw)alovely track

Mera Dil Tere Liye was the shortest of the nine songs from the soundtrack of Aashiqui on this blog – it was four minutes and 36 seconds long.

It would be unfair to call the track a respite from the Kumar Sanu onslaught, but (Ud)it was Mr Narayan's only contribution to the film’s soundtrack.

He was joined behind the microphone by the only female playback singer to grace the soundtrack – the one and only Anuradha Paudwal.

The song was penned by Sameer.

Its melody was undoubtedly its highlight. Nadeem-Shravan, the composers, served the credit for that.
