When a
lady claims that the bindi adorning
her forehead can give a guy sleepless nights, and that the kajal outlining her eyes can drive him crazy, it is certainly
believable.
That was
because Lata Mangeshkar rendered a song which was titled Meri Bindiya Teri Nindiya.
The track,
which was from Lamhe, probably left
many Hindi film music aficionados wishing Shiv-Hari had composed more film
songs, if not been as prolific as their contemporaries (and juniors).
To Anand
Bakshi, who penned it, they must have said, “Aapke lyrics ne humko pagal
bana diya. Kya kehna!”
