By no
means can it be stated that the soundtrack of Prem Qaidi, which released in 1991 and marked Karisma Kapoor’s
debut, was mind-blowing.
In fact,
just one of its songs – Priyatama O Meri
Priyatama – continues to be popular.
It was
rendered by S P Balasubrahmanyam, who sang each of the tracks in the film.
He was
joined behind the microphone by Sadhana Sargam.
In fact,
this was the only song in the film that was not rendered by Kavita
Krishnamurthy.
While the
track was penned by Sameer, the duo who composed it was Anand-Milind.
