Kavita bagged the coveted (Krishnamur)t(rop)hy

Pyar Hua Chupke Se, the song from 1942: A Love Story, was five minutes and 15 seconds long.

The track, which was composed by R D Burman, earned Kavita Krishnamurthy her maiden Filmfare Award in the Best Female Playback Singer category in 1995. It was the song with which her hat-trick of trophies began.

By no means would it be incorrect to state that each word of the track, which was penned by Javed Akhtar, created beautiful images in the minds of the listeners. And, to the faces of those in love, it brought smiles.
