He San(u)g and won hearts

There were three versions of Kuchh Na Kaho on the soundtrack of 1942: A Love Story.

This blog contains a post on its male version, which was rendered by Kumar Sanu. It was called the happy version.

Of the five tracks from the film on this blog, it was the longest – it was six minutes and as many seconds long.

Lata Mangeshkar sang the sad version, which was 17 seconds longer than Sanu’s version.

Its chorus version was just two minutes and six seconds long.

Javed Akhtar penned the track, which R D Burman composed.
